Bernard Palissy, Earthenware Ewer, 1580-1600 (V&A 7178-1860)The Victoria & Albert Museum announced it has launched a Beta version of their site’s Search the Collections. With this version they plan to increase the number of online object records from 56,000 to over a million. The temporary address is www.vam.ac.uk/cis-online, and they welcome comments and ways to improve what they have.

Unfortunately, you won’t be able to order high resolution images from the Beta site at this time. For more information on how to order images from the V&A site (where available), click here.
