The Red Dot is an informational web log about visual resources, aimed at the University of California-Santa Barbara community, but open to all. It is managed by
Jackie Spafford and Christine Fritsch-Hammes, Curator and Assistant Curator, of the UCSB Image Resource Center (formerly the Visual Resources Collection), a part of the Department of History of Art and Architecture.
In case you don’t get the reference, it’s the little red dot in the corner of our 35mm slides that helps you with orientation. And that’s what we’re here for – orientation, information, hot tips, and more. We’ll be posting regularly on new additions to the online collection, user tips, and links to great new image sites.
You can send questions to vrc.ucsb@gmail.com, or post them to this site.
